30 Jan 2026

At the beginning of this year, we are pleased to share with you the report on our association’s activities over the past year.
In 2025, Rainbow Cops Belgium continued its commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the police services and in society at large.

Training and awareness for operational police members
During 2025, our efforts again focused on training our colleagues to help them better detect and manage discrimination or hate crimes related to sexual orientation or gender identity.
275 police officers completed the training provided by Rainbow Cops Belgium.

Visibility and awareness actions
Our association actively raised awareness on LGBTQIA+ issues within the integrated police and with the general public.
Our NGO was present at two open days of police services or zones, as well as at the police village on July 21.
We also participated in Brussels Pride, Fiertés Namuroises, and Fiertés Carolos.

During 2026, in addition to our training and awareness activities, we aim to further increase the visibility of our association.

  1. The launch of our new website and our poster campaign across various police stations should help achieve this goal.
  2. As members, you also have the power to strengthen the visibility of your NGO by talking about RCB around you.
This year, we have decided to implement a sponsorship system.
If you sponsor a new member, you will receive one of our goodies sold on our website (please mention the sponsor’s name and the chosen goodie on the registration form).
  3. Furthermore, RCB will be present at the conference organized from July 29 to August 1, 2026, by the European LGBT Police Association, alongside World Pride in Amsterdam.
We are pleased to announce that RCB will cover part of the registration fees for members wishing to attend this conference. Interested members are invited to sign up as soon as possible, no later than March 15.
The program and practical details for this conference will be shared as soon as we receive them.
  4. Finally, we are eager to meet you in person, and a meet-and-greet will be organized during the year at the Rainbow House in Brussels.
This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss actions undertaken so far and explore future initiatives.

Strengthening the Board of Directors
To continue the development of Rainbow Cops Belgium and ensure the continuity of its missions, we are currently seeking new board members who are willing to actively engage in the life of the NGO.
Whether through your expertise, motivation, or desire to promote diversity and inclusion within the integrated police, your involvement can make a difference.
Interested members are invited to contact the board of directors for more information about the role and ways to get involved.

Membership renewal
At the start of the year, we also invite you to renew your membership, which is essential for the proper functioning and sustainability of our association.
Membership fees are: €25 for full members, €20 for partners, and €25 for supporting members.
Payment can be made to Rainbow Cops Belgium account:
IBAN: BE69 0016 6343 1778
BIC: GEBABEBB
Your financial support is crucial to enable us to continue and expand our actions in favor of diversity and inclusion.

THIS YEAR MORE THAN EVER, WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU!
Rainbow Cops Belgium: Protect with pride, serve with diversity.
